Illean Manser, 75, of Livermore, died July 7, 1995 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were July 10 at the United Methodist Church in Livermore with the Rev. Josue Florendo officiating the services. Burial was at the Union Cemetery in Livermore.
She was born June 17, 1920 on a farm east of LuVerne to Zeak and Mae (Bordwell) Smith, On Dec. 18, 1936, she married Harold Manser at the Methodist Church in Humboldt. They had lived in Winterset for 23 years before returning to Livermore in 1982. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, U.M.W.; a life-time member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and Friends and Neighbors in Livermore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and three brothers.
Surviving relatives include her husband; two sons, Eldon Manser of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gary Manser and wife, Delores of Peru; two daughters, Delores Gales and husband John of Livermore and Gladys Vowell and her husband Larry of Winterset; one sister, Donna Anderson of Webster City; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
