Everett M. Sparks, a well-known Madison county farmer most of his life, died at a nursing home here Monday, Nov. 21, 1961. He was 82 years of age
Mr. Sparks was born in Jasper county on June 4, 1878, but came to this county early in life.
His wife, Mrs. Anna Sparks to whom he was married on Dec. 26, 1900, died earlier this year.
He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Albert Todd of Des Moines, and Mrs. R. H. Vandeveer of Marshalltown.
Funeral service were held this Wednesday morning from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was to be made Wednesday afternoon at Waveland cemetery at Prairie City.
