Wednesday, December 7, 1994Robert Peacock, 67, of Winterset, died Dec. 3, 1994 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were Dec. 6, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. John Shaull officiated the ceremony with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.
He was born in Madison County on July 19, 1927 to Lawrence and Lenore Frances (Martin) Peacock. He married Cleo Sarah Bashore in Mora, Minn. on July 14, 1947. He was a retired truck driver for Farmers Co-op and Madison County Secondary Roads. He was a lifetime resident of Madison County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.
Surviving relatives include his wife; two sons, Daniel Laurence Peacock and wife Rolonda of Winterset, and Robert Wayne Peacock and wife Debbie of Des Moines; two daughters, Linda Lee Creech and husband John of Helena, Mont., and Rebecca Lynn Kile and husband Tom of Winterset; one brother, Merlin LaVerne Peacock of Des Moines; one sister, Martha Mae Berch of Winterset; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
