Opal L. Pearson, (70), died October 19, 1993 at Riverside Care Center in Des Moines. Services were held October 22, 1993 at Collins Funeral Home with burial at Winterset Cemetery. The Rev. Don Frank officiated the ceremony.

Mrs. Pearson was born April 29, 1923 in Kokomo, Ind. to Leonard V. and Goldie Ellen (Wren) Davis. She was married to Ernest (Bill) Pearson at Jump River, Wisc. on December 16, 1938.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.

Surviving relatives include her husband; two sons, Robert "Butch" Pearson of Wyaconda, Mo. and Joe Pearson of Des Moines; three daughters, Maxine Hamell of Van Wert, Josie Moorman of Clinton and Mary Rychnovsky of Osceola; one brother, Karl Davis of Calif.; two sisters, Irma Mae Davis of New Mexico and Marjorie Berwick of Fla.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great granchild.
