Harvey Creston Paull, 86, of Greenfield died of exposure Dec. 17, 2000, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 21, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Dr. Mary Pope officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery with military rites performed by American Legion Post 184 and V.F.W. Post 8142, both of Winterset.

Harvey Paull was born Aug. 16, 1914, to Harvey L. and Anna (Thompson) Paull of Gibson. He married Anne L. Martens on March 15, 1935. A resident of Greenfield for most of his life, he was retired as owner and operator of Paull Pontiac and Buick and the John Deere Implement, both in Greenfield. An Army veteran of World War II, Harvey was a member of the Greenfield Lions Club and American Legion and also was a 50-year member of the Masons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He is survived by two daughters, Alice Scott (husband Jim) of West Branch and Carole Olson (husband Larry) of Bella Vista, Ark.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
