Willis F. Neal, 82, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., died of Alzheimer's disease Oct. 22, 2001.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 25, at Valley of the Sun Chapel in Chandler, Ariz.
Willis Neal was born Jan. 27, 1919 in St. Charles. He served five years in the United States Coast Guard. Willis and his family had farmed in Green County. In 1959, they moved to Denver, Colo., and then to Sun Lakes.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred of Sun Lakes; two sons, Glenn Neal (wife Victory) and John Neal (wife Melody); a sister, Wanda Palmer (husband Don) of Winterset; and six grandchildren.
