John H. Mauk, 84, of Integrated Health Services of Iowa died there Sunday of pneumonia. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at North McDonald Cemetery near Winterset.

Mr. Mauk was born in Johnson City, Kan., and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He had been a machine operator for Cargill and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of National Rifle Association and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; a sister, Dorothy Saylor of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two brothers, Ivan of Bellevue, Neb., and Harold of Des Moines.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
