Craig William Roberts, 61, of Winterset died of a heart attack April 6, 2000, in Branson, Mo.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 10, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset with Pastor Merle Prater officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery with military honors performed by V.F.W. Post 8142 and American Legion Post 184.

Craig Roberts was born July 11, 1938, to William and Kathryn (Beebout) Roberts of Knoxville. He married Flora Schmell on Dec. 2, 1960. He was a truck driver for Churchill Truck Lines for 23 years and Standard Forwarding for four years and also farmed. Craig was a member of Teamsters Local 147 for 30 years before his retirement in 1998. He also was in the United States Army for two years and the United States Army Reserves for four years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Brenda Majava (husband Randy) of Des Moines; two sons, Russell Roberts (wife Vicki) and Bryan Roberts (wife Janey), both of Winterset; three brothers, Larry Roberts (wife Betty) of Winterset, Jay Roberts (wife Linda) of Leon and Daryl Roberts (wife Mary) of Kansas City, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.
