Anna Louise Marie Sorensen, 79, died August 29, 1993 at her home in Grimes. Hastings funeral Home in Perry handled the arrangements.
Anna grew up on her parents (Niels and Kjerstine Olesen Madsen) farm in Audubon County and attended rural school. On May 31, she was married to Richard Gyde Sorensen in Carroll County. They farmed in the Audubon, Guthrie and Dallas County areas before retiring to Perry in 1970. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Perry.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and one son.
Local survivors include one daughter-in-law, Diane Sorensen and a grandson, John Sorensen, both of Winterset.
