Wilma (Anderson) Edgar, 79, of Indianola, died Sept. 22, 1995, in Indianola.

She was born Oct. 26, 1915, to James H. and Beulah Zay Anderson in St. Charles. She graduated from St. Charles High School. She married John Edgar of Glasgow, Scotland while living in Panama. After returning to the states, she worked at Methodist and Broadlawn’s Hospitals, as well as the Internal Medical Clinic, all in Des Moines. She was a member of the Indianola Chapter of AAUW (American Association of University Women), and active in MacNichol Clan of Trinity United Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Don Edgar of Las Vegas, Nev. And Jim Edgar of Issaquah, Wash.; one sister, Alice Blair of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.
