Emmett Lyle Dresback, 95, died December 5, 1993 at the Bayard Care Center in Bayard. Services were held December 9, 1993 at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Burial was at the Richland Twp. Cemetery in Guthrie County.
He was born November 30, 1898 near Pontiac, Illinois to John and Lizzie (Klinzman) Dresback. He married Pearl Myers in 1917 at Green County Court House. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson and belonged to the Odd Fellows Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife; three daughters; two sisters; and three bothers.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Deane Dresback and his wife Shirley of Winterset, Elwin Dresback and his wife Doris of Erie, Pa.; one daughter, LaNetta Clouse of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Lois Carroll of Estherville, Ruth Hickman of Olympia, Wash; one brother, Floyd of Fontanelle; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
