Ashlee Gaa, 4, of Winterset died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident May 24, 1994. graveside services were May 27, 1994 at the Winterset Cemetery with Father Frank Palmer officiated.

She was born in Carroll to Mark and Connie Gaa. She had lived in Winterset for one year.

She was preceded in death by one sister, April Rice who died in the same auto accident.

Surviving relatives include her parents; one brother, Travis DeMey of Winterset; one sister, Tara Gaa of Winterset; grandparents, Esther Slechta of Denison; Mary Catherin and Lester Brower of Denison; and great-grandmother, Urlene Frazier of Seattle Washington.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund that has been set up as Ashlee’s name at the Union State Bank in Winterset.
