Frances Louise Cade, 82, of Rogers, Ark., died of a heart ailment Sept. 17, 1999, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Trinity Lutheran Church, located four miles south of Van Meter in Madison County, with Pastor Steven Barker officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation is today (Wednesday, Sept. 22) from noon to 8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Frances Cade was born May 6, 1917, to Herbert and Matilda (Knudson) Morrell of Stanhope. She married Harold Cade on Aug. 1, 1935, in Missouri. A homemaker, she lived in Denver, Colo., from 1941-1956; in DeSoto from 1956-1991; and in Winterset from 1991 until June 1999 when she moved to Rogers. Frances was a member of the DeSoto Lions Club, Lakeview Country Club, Trinity Lutheran Church of rural Van Meter and local card clubs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.

She is survived by two sons, Leroy Cade of Rogers, Ark., and David Cade of Richardson, Texas; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church of rural Van Meter.
