Wayne Cool, North Platte, Neb.

Wayne W. Cool, 65, died of cancer March 26, 1993 at his home in North Platte, Neb. Burial was at the North Platte Cemetery.

He was born April 25, 1927, in North Platte to Cyril and Ruth (Winget) Cool. He was a descendant for the James Guye family of Madison County, the great-great-grandson of Jane Guye Cool. He married Dorothy Kentopp October 14, 1949. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman and conductor, retiring in 1989. He often visited his relatives in Madison County, including the former Elbridge Guye and his wife Dorothy, and was a member of the Madison County Historical society.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Brad and two grandchildren all of North Platte.
