Funeral services for Madison County native Mary Leon Hiatt-Clark, 74, of Kelso, Washington were held November 20 in Kelso. Mrs. Hiatt-Clark died November 28. Burial was at Longview, Washington.
Mary Hiatt was born March 26, 1919 in Peru to Verlan ‘Pete’ Hiatt and Beulah (Decker) Hiatt. After living in Madison County for a few years, the family moved to Pilot Mound, where she graduated. Soon thereafter she met and married Robert Clark, after which they moved west.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Verlan and Larry Clark, and families; and one brother, Wilmer Hiatt of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy.
