Henry Cooper, Melcher-Dallas

Henry Cooper, 87, of Melcher-Dallas died Sat. Dec. 4, 1993 of injuries suffered in a fire in his home. Services are today, December 8, 1993 at 1 p.m. at Mosher Funeral Home with burial in Dallas Cemetery.

He was born in Madison County to Margret Deliah Thornburg and Joseph Obedare Cooper on December 20, 1905. He lived in Melcher-Dallas most of his life and was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by two sons; one daughter; five sisters and three brothers.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Mildred; one sister, Opal A Huddleson of Winterset; six sons, Brice Cooper of Yuma, Ariz., Lester Parker of Mercer, Mo., Charles Cooper of New Virginia, Donnie Cooper of Des Moines and David Cooper and Bill Cooper, both of Melcher-Dallas; nine daughters, Fern Sutton of Augusta, Ga., Betty Fleming of Winterset, Joeann Breese of Knoxville, Rose Gudger of Brooksville, Fla., Eloise Mullen of Corning, Jackie Freeman of Williamson, Ruby Flanders of Chariton, Snooky Rehard of Lacona and Diane Graham of Pleasantville; 59 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
