MRS. FRANK CUMMINS, 72 Died On Monday

Mrs. Frank Cummins, a well-known Winterset and Madison county resident for many years, died Monday, July 1, 1963, at her home in Winterset. She had been a patient at University hospital in Iowa City, but had arrived home from there on June 23.

Mrs. Cummins was 72 years of age at her death. She was the former Ruth Vern Stulz, daughter of George and Agnes Stulz. She was born in Story County but had lived in Madison county since she was 12 years of age.

She was married March 12, 1912, to Frank Cummins. His death occurred in 1956.

Mrs. Cummins was a life-long member of the Methodist church, and had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She leaves a son, George Cummins of Garner; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Comp of Winterset and Mrs. Doris Sorensen of Adel; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist church in Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John Porath, assisted by the Rev. Howard Church of Eagle Grove. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
