C. L. YOUNKER DIES AT 66 YEARS OF AGE

C. L. Younker, who operated a plumbing and heating business in Winterset for 14 years, died during the night last Saturday at the home of his son, Harold Younker, of Monroe township.

Mr. Younker had been in failing health for some time, but his death came suddenly. He had been in Winterset during the day Saturday. He was 66 years of age.

Mr. Younker came to Winterset in 1930 from Indianola, where he had lived for many years. Prior to that he had spent some time in northern Iowa and in Colorado. He was engaged in business here until two years ago, when failing health forced his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, of Winterset; his aged mother, Mrs. Alice Younker of Indianola; the son, Harold Younker; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Tracy of Martensdale, and Mrs. Roberta Baysinger of Pleasantville; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Austin Younker of Indianola, and Orph Younker of Ottumwa; and four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Fell of Indianola, Mrs. Lottie Sellers of Clarion, Mrs. Edna Schenk of Gary, Ind., and Mrs. Elvie MacBeth of Lincoln, Neb.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
