Mrs. Zella Jones, wife of Arthur Jones of Lincoln township, died Monday morning, the victim of pneumonia, and other complications.
Mrs. Jones leaves six children, the youngest of which is a three week old baby born Thanksgiving day.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Grant Nelson of Benson, Minnesota; her husband, Arthur Jones; her sons, Robert, Clinton, Irwin, Kenneth and the baby; her daughter, Ruby; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Busch of Orient, and Mrs. Amza Jones of Benson, Minnesoa; and two brothers, Roy Nelson of Benson, Minnesota, and Ray Nelson of Winterset.

Zella Florence Nelson, daughter of Grant and Joy Nelson, was born at Cherry Point, Illinois, August 13, 1899 and died at her home near Winterset, on December 20, 1937, at the age of 38 years, 4 months and 7 days.
She came to Madison county with her parents at the age of two years and attended the Winterset public schools. At the age of 14 she was united with the Church of Christ in Winterset. She was united in marriage to Arthur C. Jones on March 8, 1916. Six children were born to this union, five sons and one daughter.
Those who mourn her death are her husband, Arthur C. Jones, six children, Robert, Clinton, Irvin, Kenneth, Ruby and an infant son Neil. The mother and two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Grant Nelson of Benson, Minnesota; Mrs. Ethel Bush of Orient, Mrs. Mary Jones of Benson, Minnesota; Ray Nelson of Peru, Roy Nelson of Benson, Minnesota, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. L. Olmstead from the Ramsey–Richard funeral home at two o’clock, Wednesday, December 22. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
