CORBET GOFF DIED IN DES MOINES

Madison County Resident for Most of Life Is Buried Here

Corbet Goff, a resident of Madison county most of his life, died in Des Moines Sunday following a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Goff was born in this county and had lived here until three years ago, when he moved to Des Moines. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alf Goff. His wife, the former Emma Thompson, preceded him in death six years ago.

He is survived by four children: Mrs. Irene Thompson, Mrs. Lorraine Smith, Kenneth Goff and Ruby Goff, all of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Walter Hurt, and three brothers, Arch, Glen and Clarence Goff, all of Carpenter. He was a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dunn of Winterset.

He was buried at Winterset Tuesday morning.
