WALTER ANDERSON DIES AT WOODWARD

Heart Attack Fatal There to Former Resident of This Community

Walter Anderson, former resident of this community, was stricken with a fatal heart attack last Satruday night while on duty at the oil station that he operated at Woodward. He was 64 years of age.

Mr. Anderson was well known here, having spent much of his life at Winterset. He was a brother of Charles Anderson of Winterset. He also lived a number of years in North Dakota.

Mr. Anderson moved from Winterset to Redfield 10 years ago, and after three years there moved to Woodward.

He is survived by his wife, of Woodward; three daughters by a former marriage; and three brothers, William Anderson of Clarinda and DeWitt Anderson of Des Moines, in addition to Charles Anderson of Winterset.

Brief funeral rites were held at Woodward Tuesday, and the body was brought to Winterset, where funeral services were held from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. Glen D. Toole of Woodward. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
