Nancy Bell Moore, born in Union County on September 6, 1926 to Orlie E. and Edna Irene Huss Handley, died Tuesday, August 1, 1978, at Winterset Care Center South. Her permanent residence was rural St. Charles.
She was a housewife, a resident of this county about 17 years, moving here from Indianola. Her marriage to Charles Calvin Moore, Sr. took place July 3, 1946, in Winterset. He survives his wife.
Other survivors include a son, Charles Calvin Moore, Jr. of Des Moines; two daughters, Betty Irene Johnson and Anna Marie Moore of St. Charles; a brother, Harvey Walter Handley of Norwalk and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Nancy Moore were conducted Friday August 4, at 1:30 p.m. from St. Charles United Methodist Church with burial at Union Cemetery in Clark County. Rev. Rolland C. Towell officiated.
