GEORGE V. SNYDER DIED HERE MONDAY

Death Ends Long Illness for 71-Year-Old Resident of County

George V. Snyder, elderly Scott township resident, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Claude Drake, two miles southeast of Winterset. He was 71 years of age. His death ended a long period of ill health.

Mr. Snyder is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Drake and Mrs. Cleo Bindell of Winterset; and a son, Rex Snyder of the U.S. army.

Funeral services will be held this Friday from Ramsey-Richards funeral home at 2 p.m., in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
