Lillian Moore, Norwalk

Lillian M. Moore, 62, of Norwalk, died Aug. 23, 1995 of cancer at the Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Funeral services were Aug. 26 at the Martensdale Community Church. The Rev. Joel Andrus officiated the services and burial was at the Norwalk Cemetery.

She was born in Madison County on Sept. 26, 1932 to Moody and Norma (Hann) Greenfield. She married James W. (Bill) Moore on April 28, 1972 at Omaha, Neb.

She had been an agriculture investigator with the State of Iowa Department of Agriculture. She grew up in Madison County and had spent most of her adult life in Norwalk. She was a member of the Martensdale Community Church and a member of various square dance clubs.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Surviving relatives include her husband; three sons, Charles Raymond and wife Mary of Des Moines, Doug Raymond of Des Moines and Steve Raymond and wife Kathy of Winterset; two stepdaughters, Cathy Cunningham and husband Bob of Des Moines and Annette Blasberg and husband Larry of Des Moines; her mother; one brother, Jim Greenfield of Louisiana; one sister Evelyn Wedge of Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Missionary fund of the Martensdale Community Church.
