MRS. GUY MOORE, 50, DIED SUNDAY

Death Occurs in Des Moines Hospital Following Major Surgery

Mrs. Guy Moore, a well-known resident of the Worthington community, died Sunday, June 28, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Her death, followed major surgery. She was 50 years of age.

Mrs. Moore was a life-long resident of Madison County. She was the former Lucille Clements, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Clements, and was born near Earlham, Jan. 29, 1903.

She was educated in the rural schools of her township, and at the Earlham school. She was affiliated with the Order of Eastern Star at Earlham, of which she was past matron, and the Iris club of Winterset. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. F. W. Mills of Rockford, Ill., one granddaughter, Linda and four sisters, Mrs. Waldo Hadley of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. W. F. Price and Mrs. Guy Hayes of Earlham; and Mrs. Glenn Alexander of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon from the Earlham Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in the Earlham cemetery.
