DEATH OF MISS SARAH THOMAS

Macksburg Special, January 11--

Miss Sarah Thomas died Saturday, January 9th, at the home of her brother, John Thomas, of Macksburg, after an illness of several months. Miss Thomas was 71 years of age, and she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Annie Trenton, of Wichita, and Mrs. Mary Proctor of Emmett, Idaho. She also leaves four brothers, William, Stephen, James and Thomas all of Macksburg.

The Rev. Myrtle Wolf conducted her funeral services Monday afternoon, January 11th, at the James Thomas home and burial was in the Moon cemetery.

SARAH THOMAS DIES SERVICES MONDAY

Miss Sarah Elizabeth Thomas died Saturday at the home of her brother, James Thomas, of Macksburg, with whom she had made her home a number of years. She was 71 years old.

Miss Thomas was the daughter of John and Polly Thomas and was born in Madison county April 30, 1960. She attended the Baptist church when a young woman.

After the death of her parents she made her home with her brother, James. Others who survive are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Trenton of Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Mary Proctor of Emmett, Idaho; her brothers, William and Stephen of Macksburg; and other relatives.

The Rev. Wolfe of Lorimor conducted the services Monday afternoon at the James Thomas home at two o’clock; burial was in the Macksburg cemetery.
