Christopher Joseph Mitchell, 19, of Winterset died May 8, 1994 in an auto accident south of Winterset. Funeral services were today, Wed. May 11, 1994 at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Frank Palmer officiated the ceremony. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

He was born November 7, 1974 in Shreveport, La., to Mark R. Mitchell and Sandra Scallan. He has lived in Winterset with his mother and step-father, Mike Patterson since 1984. He was employed at Fareway Grocery Store in Winterset.

Surviving relatives include his mother and step-father, Sandra and Mike Patterson of Winterset; father, Mark R. Mitchell of New Orleans, La.; grandparents, Lee and Mattie Scallan of Alexandria, La., Louise Mitchell of Baton Rouge, La., and Gene and Ruby Patterson of Winterset.
