RITES HELD FOR SMITH INFANT

Funeral services were held from the Evans Funeral Home in Earlham Sunday for Richard Shawn Smith, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Smith of near Winterset. The Rev. Ward Young of Earlham conducted the services.

The infant was born dead on Saturday, October 21 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Surviving relatives include the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor of Winterset and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith of Earlham; and great grandmothers, Mrs. Bertha Smith of Earlham and Mrs. Minnie Emmons of Stuart.
