Mrs. Pearl M. Sherard of Cudahy, California, died Saturday, January 19 at the age of 75 years.
Mrs. Sherard, the former Pearl May Wilkinson, a native of Winterset, was born here May 1, 1898, the daughter of Oscar and Julia Wilkinson.
She attended the Winterset Public Schools and was later married to Glen V. Sherard, a native of Missouri. The family moved to California in 1937 and Mr. Sherard passed away in 1944.
Mrs. Sherard is survived by Ermal of Cudahy, Amil of Huntington Park and Ernest of Fountain Valley, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Shelton of Farmington, New Mexico and Dixie Murphy of Bell, California; and one sister, Blanche Wisler of Winterset.
A daughter, Glenna Pearl preceded her in death, as well as one brother, Alvie E. Wilkinson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 23 in Sampsons Mortuary Chapel in Bell at 10 a.m.
Rev. Dale Barrett, Pastor of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Cudahy, of which Mrs. Sherard was a member, conducted the services. Burial was made in the Englewood Park Cemetery.
