Harry NMN Stalheim, 81, of Winerset died of a heart attack Oct. 31, 1998, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset with Father Ed Pfeffer officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Harry Stalheim was born Feb. 22, 1917, in Wolf Point, Mont., to Hans and Caroline Rognaldson Stalheim. He married Florence L. Flahive on May 20, 1977, in Winterset. A retired farmer, Harry moved to Winterset 21 years ago from Wolf Point. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Martin McCauley of Peru and Michael McCauley of Winterset; five daughters, Carol Strickland of Pensacola, Fla., Joellen Enderson of Dodge Center, Minn., Jackie McCauley of Winterset, Joan McCauley of Winterset and Julie Dougherty of Pella; two sisters, Anne Olson and Myrtle Vine, both of Vida, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
