Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro for Mrs. Oscar Porter of St. Charles, whose death occurred Dec. 14 at the Jefferson Nursing home in Indianola. She was 74 years of age.
Mrs. Porter was the former Ida Mae Kellison, daughter of Frank and Minnie Paulson Kellison. She was born near Polk City Nov. 2, 1897. She had lived on a farm near St. Charles since 1955, and prior to that lived at Audubon.
She was married Oct. 13, 1921, at Boone, to Oscar Porter, who survives her.
She was a member of the St. Charles Methodist church, and of the Woman's Society for Christian Service there.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Wonderlin of Woodburn; three grandchildren; a great granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Garliesch of Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Myrtle Carlson of Madrid; and two brothers, Ross and Earl Kellison of Perma, Mont.
The Rev. William Andre of St. Charles conducted the funeral services Thursday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.

Funeral services for Ida Mae Porter will be held Thursday, December 16 from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro. She died at the Jefferson Nursing Home in Indianola on Tuesday.
Ida Mae Porter was born on November 2, 1897 and was the daughter of Frank and Minnie Paulson Kellison. She was educated in Audubon and Polk City country schools and lived on a farm near St. Charles since 1955. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church in St. Charles. On October 13, 1921 she was united in marriage to Oscar Porter in Boone. One child was born to this union.
Surviving relatives include: husband, Oscar of St. Charles; daughter, Wilma Wonderlin and husband, Henry of Woodburn; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two sisters, Grace Garlisch of Washington; and Myrtle Carlson of Madrid and two brothers, Ross and Earl Kellison of Perma, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles and sister, Marie.
