WILLIAM HAM DIES AT NEWTON

William Ham, a former resident of Madison county, died Christmas Day at the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. Lewis Darrah, in Newton. Mr. Ham was 78 years of age.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday afternoon from the Toland Funeral home in Newton, with burial in the Newton cemetery.

He is survived by four children; three brothers, Ralph Ham and Jesse Ham of Winterset, and Tom Ham of Peru; and three sisters, Emma Edwards of Mission, Kansas; Mabel Nelson of Peru, and Blanche Livingston of Winterset.
