WILLIAM MINNICK OF TRURO DIED FEB. 22

William H. Minnick of Truro died Friday, Feb. 22 at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. He was 84 years of age.

A retired farmer, Mr. Minnick had lived in the Truro community for the last 15 years. He retired and moved into Truro two years ago. He was a native of Illinois, where he was born at Peru on Nov. 7, 1878, a son of Daniel J. and Clara E. Miller Minnick. He was married at Talmadge, Iowa in 1904 to Eliza Thomas, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves six children, Merle Minnick of DeSoto, Charles Minnick of Truro, Mrs. Wilma Wilkie of Creston, Darrell Minnick of Creston, Earl Minnick of Meeker, Colo., and Lawrence Minnick of Delphos, Iowa. He also leaves 29 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hollen of Oregon, Illinois and Mrs. Bertha Crandall of Grand Junction, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Feb. 25, from the Kale Funeral home at Truro, in charge of the Rev. Millard Marshall. Burial was made in Green Lawn cemetery at Afton.
