Services For MRS. LORENA TIDRICK

A lifetime resident of Madison County and an active member of church and social organizations, Lorena W. Tidrick, died Tuesday, September 9, 1975 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was 78 years old. Her residence in Winterset was at 303 East Court.

Mrs. Tidrick was born January 9, 1897 in Madison County, Iowa, the daughter of Clark Wilson and Ida Hall. She was married to Clarence Tidrick on October 17, 1921 in Winterset. Mr. Tidrick preceded her in death in March, 1959.

An active member of the Pythian Sisters, Mrs. Tidrick was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church of Winterset and was a member of the United Methodist Women (WSCS).

Survivng Mrs. Tidrick are four children: Audrey (Mrs. Leonard) Swaboda of Des Moines; Doris Ripley of Burbank, California; Dean Tidrick of Cedar Falls; and Lee Tidrick of Palcentia, California. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, and two brothers, Eldon Wilson of Winterset and Roy Wilson of Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

Mrs. Tidrick was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Lorena W. Tidrick were conducted Thursday, September 11 at 10:30 A.M. from the First United Methodist Church of Winterset, the Rev. Paul Bousfield and Walter Samp officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
