LORA STEPHENSON, Winterset

Funeral services for Lora Stephenson, 81, will be held Thurs., Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Mrs. Stephenson died December died December 8, 1991 at Des Moines General Hospital.

A lifetime Madison County resident, she was born December 4, 1910 to Samuel O. and Caroline (Hart) Ridout. She married William (Robert) Stephenson December 21, 1927 in Madison County. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Lora Stephenson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and an infant brother.

Survivors include two sons, Clifford and wife, Norma, of Barstow, Calif. and Robert and wife, Della, of Cherokee; a daughter, Sherry Breckenridge and husband, Gary, of Edmonds, Wash.; two brothers, Wayne Ridout of Lorimor and Lloyd Ridout of Winterset; two sisters, Lorna Jones and Helen Christensen, both of Bridgewater; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery.
