Margaret (Peg) Elizabeth Stegall of Dexter was 64 years old when she died March 6, 1980.
Margaret was born in the Dexter area February 9, 1916 to Ira and Hannah Blome Cox.
November 28, 1936, she was united in marriage to Harry Stegall. They resided on a farm near Earlham for many years.
Peg was a member of the Early Chapel Christian Church near Earlham.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry on Feb. 28, 1973, and a brother, Lawrence Cox.
Surviving are her parents of Dexter, a brother, George Cox of Des Moines; sisters, Christine Mitchell of Council Bluffs, and Ramona Tuttle of Elma, Iowa, children, Donna Corman of Cedar Rapids, Harry Dean Stegall of Perry, and four grandchildren.
Services were held at Chamberlain-Fisher Funeral Home in Adel, Sunday, March 9, 1980 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paul I. Nelson officiated. Interment was at the Penn Center Cemetery near Earlham.
