Benjamin Andrew Miller, Waverly

Funeral services for Benjamin Andrew Miller, five-year-old son of Terry A. and Terri L. (McDonald) Miller, were held Wed. Jan. 30 at the Open Bible Church, Waverly, with Pastor Jack Nation officiating. Benjamin died Sat., Jan. 26 at the University Hospitals in Iowa City from injuries received in a playground accident the day before.

He was born October 3, 1985 in Waverly and dedicated to Jesus October 13, 1985 at the Cedar Falls Church of the Nazarene. He was attending St. Paul's Pre-School in Waverly and was a member of the Open Bible Church, where he was very active in Sunday School.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, maternal great-grandfather and two paternal great-grandfathers.

He is survived by his parents; one sister, Alyssa Lynn at home, maternal grandparents, Dennis and Sheenie McDonald; maternal great-grandmother, Wilma McDonald, all of Winterset; paternal grandparents, Allan and Jackie Miller of Waverly; paternal grandmothers, Wilma Miller of Waverly and Gladys Steidler of Waterloo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Burial will be in North McDonald Cemetery in Winterset Wed. Jan. 30 at 4 p.m. followed by a time to visit with the family at the Foursquare Church, Winterset.
