Mrs. Mary E. Maxwell, 94, of Des Moines, died Sunday morning, January 12th at the Mercy hospital, in that city. She was born in this county, but lived in Adair, before moving to Des Moines twenty-eight years ago.
John E. Cunningham and Peter Cunningham attended her funeral services, she being their great aunt.
Near survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Maxwell, with whom she made her home, two brothers, James Quinlan, Atlantic and Tom Quinlan of Carroll and a sister, Miss Nell Quinlan of Atlantic. She also leaves three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
