Edna Mangold, Hemet, Calif.

Edna Fletcher Mangold, 97, died April 23, 1993 at Hemet, Calif. where funeral services and burial were also held. She was a native of Madison County.

Mrs. Mangold was born in July 1895 to A. D. and Jane (Walker) Fletcher on the family farm in Jefferson Township.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Surviving relatives include a son, Fletcher Preston of Arizona and one daughter, Beverly Preston of Hemet.

Hemet - Edna Mangold

Graveside services for Edna Fletcher Mangold, 87, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery in San Jacinto. She died of lung failure Friday at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Mangold, who was born in Winterset, Iowa, lived in Hemet for 20 years. She was a homemaker.

She was a founding member of the Colonial Country Club in Hemet.

Mrs. Mangold is survived by a daughter, Beverly Preston of Hemet; a son, Don of Sedona, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
