Death of Former Resident

Sereno B. Winchester, a former resident of Peru, died at his home at Tabor, Alberta, Canada, February 7th, after an illness of almost six years. His wife was Rebecca Young, daughter of the late Rev. Charles Young of St. Charles. Mr. and Mrs. Winchester made their home for years on the farm near Peru now occupied by Avery Emerson. They moved from Peru to Canada. They have many friends here who will regret to learn of his death.
