Spotted Fever has been scouraging the family of David Brinson of Lincoln. Four of his children have had it - two boys and two girls. It is thought the girls will recover. One boy, aged 9 died last Thursday, and the other, aged 14 died last Sunday.

Transcriber's note: Jacob H. is the 14 year old. Sunday was May 5th but the Winterset Cemetery records show May 6th.
