Mrs. Mary D. McLucas of Winterset, a resident of Madison county for the last 26 years, died Tuesday, October 17 at Memorial Hospital here. She was 73 years of age.
Mrs. McLucas was a native of Macon, Missouri where she was born January 11, 1899. She was the former Mary Dunlap, daughter of Charles A. and Ida L. Warner Dunlap.
She was married at Macon on June 14, 1925 to George R. McLucas. His death occurred in 1966.
Mrs. McLucas was an employee of Good's bakery in Winterset for 20 years. She was a member of the Winterset Church of Christ and of the women's society of the church. She was also affiliated with the Sixty-Plus Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Bailey of Des Moines; a son, Warner McLucas of New Freedom, P.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Opal McLucas and Mrs. Hazel Lehman, both of Denver, Colorado.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur, pastor of lthe First Christian Church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
