Alexis McKeever, 53, died of complications of diabetes at her home in Winteset Jan. 6, 1998.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 1998 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, Iowa, with the Rev. Bill Branson officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Alexis Hazel McKeever was born April 8, 1944, in Martinez, Calif., to John Clarence and Hazel Gladys Peterson McClain. She married Jerry McKeever Oct. 28, 1961 at Indianola, Iowa. She was a homemaker and spent most of her lifetime in Madison County. She was a member of the former Christian Church in Barney, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband and her daughter Kim Shaw and three grandsons, Jace, Brance and Trenton Shaw, all of Winterset.
