DAVID MCKEE OF EARLHAM DIES

Death Occurred Last Friday At Hospital In Des Moines

David R. McKee of near Earlham died Friday, Aug. 18, at a Des Moines hospital. He was 76 years of age.

Mr. McKee was a retired farmer and a Madison county resident for 42 years. He was a native of Adair county, where he was born Feb. 21, 1891, a son of Hugh D. and Mary Ellen Martin McKee.

He was married Feb. 18, 1915, at Winterset to Josephine D. Duff who survives him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves three sons, Thaine McKee of Oak Hearst, Ill., Kenneth McKee of Des Moines, and Raymond McKee of Stuart; six grandchildren; a step-grandchild; a brother, James McKee of Atlantic and a sister, Mrs. Mary Kalback of Menlo.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Worthington Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. D. Ward Young of Earlham. Burial was made in the Worthington cemetery.
