Death of Mrs. W. H. McGinnis

Mrs. James McGinnis died at her home in Winterset on Monday morning, following weeks of suffering with cancer of the stomach.

Mrs. McGinnis came from Illinois to Winterset with her father in 1872. In 1885, she was married to W. H. McGinnis, his death occurring less than two years ago.

Mrs. McGinnis was a woman of strong purpose and devoted to her church. Her long and active membership in Pitzer W. R. C. will cause her to be greatly missed from its gatherings. At the time of her death she was a corps officer. Her charities were many, and her kind ministrations to friends in trouble and sorrow will remain with them always.

Rev. Cable conducted burial services Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church.
