Graveside services for Thelma McFarland, 65, Louisville, Ky., who died May 18 at her home, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, at Mt. Pelier Cemetery northeast of Patterson in Madison County, with the Rev. Jan Clinton officiating.
Born at Pottawattamie County, Iowa on June 17, 1918, she was the daughter of William and Grace Feight Berch. She lived in Winterset from 1944 to 1954 and owned the K-Electric business.
Survivors include sons, Samuel and Thomas, both of Louisville; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Guffy of Sweetwater, Tenn.; brothers, William and John, both of Peru and Roy of Winterset; sisters, Velma Patterson of Indianola, Delia Collins of Kansas City, Mo., and Donna Missi of Sacramento.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
