Mrs. Minnie B. McDonald of Winterset died Thursday, Feb. 6, at Memorial hospital in Winterset, after an illness of almost four weeks. She had been admitted to the hospital Jan. 11.
Mrs. McDonald was 80 years of age, and had lived nearly all her life in Madison county. She was born here Sept. 13, 1883, a daughter of William and Esther Cline Paullin. As a young woman, she served as a school teacher. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She was married in Des Moines on Dec. 12, 1906 to Charles McDonald, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Everett Groth and Mrs. Kenneth Eyerly of Winterset and Charles McDonald of Whittier, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, E. H. Paullin of Winterset, and Raymond Paullin of Afton.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the First Methodist church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John C. Porath. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
