St. Charles (Special)--Ralph McDaniel passed away suddenly at his home in St. Charles Sunday evening, from a heart attack. He was a World war veteran and had been in poor health for years. His mother, Mrs. Lucy McDaniel preceded him in death in January.
Funeral arrangements are not complete at this time, and more details of his life will be given next week.

David R. McDaniel, a World War Veteran, died suddenly Sunday night at his home in St. Charles, following a heart attack. McDaniels (sic), who had been in ill health for several years, died at the age of 52.
Surviving relatives are two brothers, Charles of St. Charles and Floyd of Edmunds, North Dakota; three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Evans and Mrs. Rose Young of St. Charles and Mrs. Aural McDonald of Winterset. His mother preceded him in death, January 3, at the age of 80.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in St. Charles, with the pastor conducting, Rev. L. M. Kirby. Burial was made in the Sayre Cemetery near Elm Grove.
