MRS. MIKE BUSCH OF WEBSTER SUCCUMBS

Funeral Services Will Be Held Thursday at Oak Grove Church

Mrs. Mike Busch, well-known Webster township resident, died at her home there Monday. She had been in failing health for several years. She was 59 years of age.

Mrs. Busch was the former Sarah Anna Hamlin. She was born in Madison county on Nov. 15, 1881, and lived her entire life here.

She was married to Mike Busch on Feb. 4, 1903.

Mrs. Busch is survived by her husband; a son, Joe Busch of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. Delbert Snyder of Winterset; six grandchildren; one brother, Ham Hamlin of Macksburg; and four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Richmond of Winterset, Mrs. Kate Flint of Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Belle Schoonover of Macksburg, and Mrs. Roy Rogers of Macksburg.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday from the Oak Grove church in Webster township, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. W. P. Beckman. Burial will be made in the Pleasant View cemetery.

Mrs. Sarah Anna Busch, nee Hamblin, was born in Lincoln township, Madison county, on Nov. 14, 1881, the daughter of Joseph and Rachel Hamblin. She passed away very unexpectedly at her home on Jan. 13, 1941 after a lingering illness of several years. She had attained the age of 59 years, 1 month and 13 days.

On Feb. 4, 1903, she was united in marriage to Mike Busch of Webster township.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, one son, Joe Busch, and one daughter, Mrs. Delbert Snyder, both of Winterset. Also four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Richmond of Winterset, Mrs. Belle Schoonover, and Mrs. Mary E. Rogers, both of Macksburg, and Mrs. Kate Flint of Anderson, Ind., and one brother, Ham Hamblin of Macksburg, and six grandchildren.

A number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of neighbors and friends are saddened at her parting.

Several people from this community attended the funeral of Mrs. Mike Busch Thursday, which was held at Oak Grove church; burial was at Pleasant View cemetery.

Mrs. Busch was Anne Hamblin, daughter of Joseph and Rachel Hamblin, and born November 15, 1882 in Madison county. She was one of a family of ten; three children died in infancy and her parents and her brother Thomas preceded her in death.

She leaves her husband and twin children, Joe Busch and Josephine Snyder, four sisters and a brother, Mrs. Nellie Richmond of near Winterset; Mrs. Billie Schoonover; Mrs. Elizabeth Bergan and H. F. Hamblin of Macksburg and Kale Flynt of Anderson, Indiana.

A host of other relatives and friends will mourn her loss. She was not only a kind, loving mother, but a good neighbor and will be greatly missed.
