Wilma C. McClure, Winterset

Services for Wilma Clarissa McClure, 75, Winterset, who died Aug. 6 at Des Moines General Hospital, will be held Thursday, Aug. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Borger officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born July 23, 1909 at Isadore, Mo., she was the daughter of Willie and Caroline Ray Walker. She spent most of her life as a h omemaker and lived in Winterset for 28 years, moving here from Missouri.

She was married to Ralph L. McClure April 19, 1947 at Maryville, Mo. Mrs. McClure was a member of the Laurel Street Baptist Church at Maryville.

Survivors include sons, Jack Parker of Batesville, Ark., and Joe Parker of Maryville; daughters, Lettie Kneedler, Sue Benge, Patty Benge and Betty Smith all of Winterset, Fern Burns of Parnell, Mo., Venetta Robertson of Maryville and Arlene Carroll of Rock Springs, Wyo.; stepdaughters, Kathleen McClure of California and Betty Townsend, Ila Prenger, Rose Morgan and Louise Hannah, all of Fairfield; brothers, Duane, I. B. and Don Walker, all of Missouri and Arthur Walker of Omaha; sisters, Sylvia Merckling, Rosella Lewis, Virginia Eckery, Erma Jean Bowen, Pauline Gross, Doris Vaughn, Jenetta Parker and Darlene Holiday, all of Missouri; 31 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers.
